Rules and Information:

We kindly remind participants that the consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited on both courses.

 There will be TWO different courses, Money (Friday, July 26th) and Hunters (Saturday, July 27th), which will both commence at 9 AM.

To insure accurate scorekeeping iClays software will be responsible for tracking scores on both courses.

Following lunch and awards, we are excited to introduce The Closest to the Pin Golf Shot contest presented by Brown Helos, LLC.


RULES

  • Teams will consist of 4 individuals, and there will be a max of 25 teams on each course.

  • All shooters must sign a liability form before participating in the event.

  • Participants are required to arrive promptly at 8 am to sign in.

  • It is imperative that there are zero gun malfunctions during the event.

  • No shooter is permitted to be on multiple teams.

  • Participants are not allowed to harass the scorekeeper or puller.

  • Any shooter caught tampering with the scorecard will be automatically disqualified.

  • Teams will have the option to shoot on either the Hunters Course or Money Course.

  • Teams are permitted to bring a golf cart, ATV, or similar mode of transportation for use around the course and lodge area only.

  • Teams are responsible for keeping track of their scorecards throughout the course and must turn them in at the same location as sign-in.


CLOSEST TO THE PIN GOLF SHOT

  • The event will feature a 100-yard shot.

  • Participants are welcome to bring their own clubs.

  • For those who need it, a right and left-handed club will be provided.

  • Balls will be sold in sets of 3 for $100 per set.

  • Participants are required to use the golf ball provided by Brown Helos, LLC.

  • Registration will begin the morning of the shoot and be available until the awards begin.


Money Course: $800 a team

  • THE BEST COURSE FOR NSCA SHOOTERS.

  • 12 Station Sporting Clay Course.

  • This course will feature a 100 Bird Race.

  • In the event of a tie for the Top 10 individuals or Top 3 teams on the Money Course, a shoot-off will take place.

  • Scorekeeping will be set up through iClays for accurate and efficient tracking.

  • Trappers will be provided by Val Beakley to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

  • This is the only course that will pay out monetary prizes.

  • Machines will be provided by Adam Blair of Gulf Coast Promatic in Sealy, TX.


Hunters Course: $600 a team
Saturday, July 27, 2024


  • IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NSCA SHOOTERS TO SHOOT ON THIS COURSE.

  • 12 Station Sporting Clay Course.

  • The course will feature a 100 Bird Race.

  • In the event of a tie for the H.O.A. Individual or Top 3 Team score, a shoot-off will take place.

  • Scorekeeping will be set up through iClays to ensure accurate and efficient tracking.

  • Trappers will consist of volunteers, 4-H, and FFA Members. 

  • Please note that there will be no payouts on the Hunters Course. Awards and prizes will be given to the winners.
